Presence Studio 501(c)(3) is rebuilding a home for dance in Bellingham. Your generosity helps us secure a new studio and sustain the nonprofit’s ongoing work.
We are inviting support in two key ways: one-time gifts to help us secure and repair a new studio space, and monthly sustaining donations to cover our basic operating costs while we search, plan, and grow.
Studio Space Fund
One-time donations for a future home
We are building a fund to secure and repair a new studio space. Suitable spaces often require rent around $5,000 per month and significant repairs or build-out to make them safe, accessible, and dance-ready.
- Initial lease costs and deposits
- Repairs and build-out (sprung floors, accessibility, sound, ventilation)
- Creating a long-term home for dance and movement arts
Larger one-time donations (for example $250, $500, $1,000+) help us move quickly when the right space appears.
Monthly Sustaining Donors
Ongoing support for operating costs
Even without a physical studio, we maintain essential expenses—about $400 per month—that keep the nonprofit active, insured, and ready for its next home.
- Storage unit for props, gear, and décor
- Insurance, legal, and compliance fees
- Bookkeeping and administrative support
- Website, hosting, and communications
Sustaining donors giving $5–$75/month make it possible for us to stay operational, organized, and prepared to launch a new studio as soon as the right opportunity arises.
