President

Cricket Sloan combines business leadership, program management, and a deep commitment to the dance community. She has been active in four dance communities that have called Presence Studio home, giving her unique insight into its role and value. With five years of nonprofit financial management experience as a school bookkeeper, she brings both organizational and fiscal expertise to her leadership as President of the Board.

Vice President

Renna Fir brings a decade of community organizing experience and proven leadership, including serving as Lead of the Relations Circle at the Lookout Arts Quarry. As a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist, Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and small business owner, Renna offers strong interpersonal skills, deep Presence Studio community roots, and a strategic vision essential for effective board leadership.

Secretary

Sherry Helde is the Director of A Loving Space Preschool and has spent 25 years building supportive, collaborative educational communities. A dancer in the 5 Rhythms and Open Floor communities for over two decades, she brings deep commitment to embodied practice, exceptional communication skills, strong organization, and a thoughtful presence to her role as Secretary.

Ed Wayt has been a steadfast supporter of the Presence Studio community for many years. With extensive experience in operations, facilities, and organizational stewardship, Ed brings reliability, continuity, and grounded presence to his role overseeing the financial responsibilities of the nonprofit.

Daelinar is a freelance artist, Tai Chi instructor, DJ, and event facilitator involved in multiple communities that call Presence home. With over 40 years of experience across building management, financial leadership as a CFO, and service on nonprofit boards, he brings creativity, practicality, and deep community insight to the board.

Morning Amani-Roe is a Dance/Movement Therapist, musician, and visionary artist. Living in the Salish Sea bioregion with her children and vibrant community, Morning is committed to co-creating just, embodied, and compassionate culture within and beyond Presence Studio.
